The Mill Press
The Mill Press is a protestant podcast forum that seeks to connect the world with the Bible, regardless of the listeners individual belief, practice and/or way of life. Every episode is centered on the sixty six books found in the cannon known as the bible. The Mill Press (TMP) subscribes to the protestant belief that the sixty six books are divinely inspired by the Spirit of God. He is the seal that marks the believer for adoption, when turning from sin. This sin, entered the world through the disobedience of one man, Adam, from whom all humanity proceeds from. The same way sin and death came through the disobedience of one man, so did righteousness and life, come about the obedience of one man, Jesus Christ. Jesus is the word of God incarnate, the very word through whom all things (seen/unsees) were created. He is the begotten Son of God, equally sharing the nature of man and God. He was sentenced, punished, and suffered death on the cross for the redemption of sin. He was raised to life in the flesh in the third day, thereby satisfying the requirements for the indwelling of the Spirit of God for those who believe. He now sitting at the right hand of the Father of glory. TMP holds to the revelation that God is triune in person, yet one in being. God who is unseen, God who make makes himself known, and the Spirit of God who dwells with among us. The Father who is unseen, the Son who makes the Father known, and the Spirit who indwells and gives understanding of these matters. The Spirit of God proceeds from the Father who has given everything to the Son, who has given us his very presence, The Spirit of God. TMP believes in baptism as a declaration of faith, a public declaration that we have been buried with Christ and raised to a new life, as a foreshadow of the great resurrection. This resurrection will happen in the end days, when, with a loud trumpet sound, The Lord will raise to life those have died while also lifting up those who live, eventually ushering the worlds final judgments.
